Jeff Lamb previously attempted to run for mayor in 1994 but the city took two separate actions to prevent this from happening. The city filed election violation charges against him in Benton County Circuit Court and his candidacy was disqualified. The city also accused Mr. Lamb of theft and misappropriating library project funds as fundraising chairman.
